The term 3-ply comes from the English and stands for "3 layers" from which this Le Creuset cookware is consistently made. Inside there is stainless steel (18/10), outside chrome steel (18/0) with magnetic effect - guarantee for an optimal cooking result on induction cookers. In between, an aluminum layer that enables rapid heat conduction. The heat is distributed immediately and evenly from the floor to the edge.
The material is characterized by a very fast and even heat distribution and is particularly well suited for the “everyday kitchen”.

The matt stainless steel surface gives the range its charm and reveals the Le Creuset brand at a glance: the cookware is adorned with the characteristic three rings in the lid.
